Happy Birthday to Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien, AKA Dusty Springfield, who would have been 83 today.
Noel Harrison was the original singer of the 1960s classic "The Windmills of your Mind", which was first heard on the soundtrack for the film The Thomas Crown Affair (1968). It won an Oscar for best original song and became a UK chart hit the following year.
Dusty was reluctant to record it because she always said she hated it because she couldn't identify with the words, but the rest is history!
