Pink Floyd's sixth studio album Meddle was released on October 31st, 1971 - a good ol' 70's Halloween release. Spooky!

The only vocal in this song is the line, "One of these days I'm gonna cut you up into little pieces." It was spoken by drummer Nick Mason, and was digitally warped to give it an evil sound to it. Nick Mason said he liked how it sounded when it was all finished up.

Featuring double-tracked bass guitars played by David Gilmour and Roger Waters, with each bass hard panned into one channel of stereo. Waters' bass sound is quite muted and dull, because according to Gilmour, it had old strings on it - and the roadie they sent to get new strings for it wandered off to see his girlfriend instead.

Classic song from 'Meddle'. It features double-tracked bass guitars played by David Gilmour and Roger Waters, with each bass hard panned into one channel of stereo. Waters' bass sound is quite muted and dull. According to Gilmour, this is because that particular instrument had old strings on it, and the roadie they had sent to get new strings for it wandered off to see his girlfriend instead.
