Lionel Towers and Xavier Bacash make up Gypsy and the Cat, a band named after a children's book; they are from Australia.

Named after a children's book, Australian duo Xavier Bacash (guitarist/drummer) and Lionel Towers (classically trained pianist) attended the same high school, but only struck up a friendship much later while DJ'ing in Melbourne clubs.
