This incredible document turns 36 today. -- Amy Sitting here (with a U2 branded) cup of coffee, and your first song is from my favorite band and album of all time and I thought...what the hell am I waiting for? If THAT isn't a sign, then I'm just ignoring signs. Your show has lifted me out of far too many dark holes to count in 20yrs. It has been there through ANYTHING life has thrown at me. It's given me ritual and comfort and hope and an infinite community that just keeps expanding and surprising and inspiring me more every day and I always wish I could give more, but this is now and the match gives it more power. This track was recorded in the basement of the Edge's house, which producer Daniel Lanois called a "muggy little room where everything sounds dead" and "not a particularly inspiring place". WELL THEN!
