"I was listening to your show yesterday as you shared folks' stories about their troubles with car break ins and music thievery. Literally as I am listening to your show, I get a call that my car had just been broken into.
When I got to my car, my drivers window was smashed and the case for my Simon & Garfunkel Greatest Hits collection was broken apart on the passengers seat. Fortunately nothing major was stolen, and my S&G CDs were safe and sound in my CD player.
Anyways, the universe is wild, and while I'm glad I'm not alone in this experience, I'll happily take a sense of belonging with a little less broken glass next time :) Mind playing me some 'Mrs. Robinson' this morning in hopes of starting my Thursday off a little better than yesterday?" - You got it, Mariska

"Mrs. Robinson" became the duo's second chart-topper, hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and peaking within the top 10 of multiple other countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain, among others. In 1969, it became the first rock song to win the Grammy Award for Record of the Year. The song has been covered by a number of artists, including Frank Sinatra, the Lemonheads, and Bon Jovi. “Mrs. Robinson” was originally titled “Mrs.
Roosevelt” and conceived as an homage to Eleanor Roosevelt.
