Here's a memory that inspired this track courtesy of Jon Hamm: "In 2015 at Bonnaroo, Belle And Sebastian invited Zach Galifianakis and me up to the stage during their set to toss gummy bears in each other’s mouths. Then Stuart got into the fun and demanded a catch as well. It was dramatic, stupid, and done with style and grace. I know I can speak for Zach when I say 'I want to thank them for their inclusion of us into their show.' I know the audience was simply confused, but we were absolutely delighted. This was Dusty Springfield's first single as a solo artist - she was previously a member of The Springfields with her brother Tom. That group had five Top 10 hits in the UK and one in the US ("Silver Threads and Golden Needles") before Dusty's departure. "I Only Want to Be With You" launched Dusty's Hall of Fame career, and became the first hit by a British artist since The Beatles started their run. Saved My Life” turned out to be the group’s only hit. It includes a relatively early rap verse, another signal of its transitional status: disco was on its way out, and hip-hop was on its way in. The song’s 12" single included sound effects like phones ringing and toilets flushing to help DJs make personalized mixes of the song in clubs. Indeep’s principal songwriter Mike Cleveland explained to Smash Hits magazine in 1983: "We thought it would be an interesting approach to let people put down the sound effects wherever they want to.
