Talk Amongst Yourselves
by Grand National

Grand National is the duo of Rupert Lyddon and Lawrence Rudd. The two first met in a Police tribute band based out of London. Rupert eventually became friends with the band Primal Scream and was offered some free studio time from the group. Whenever the Scream weren't actively working on their upcoming XTRMNTR album, Lyddon and Rudd were busy recording their own tunes and becoming Grand National.: https://www.allmusic.com/artist/grand-national-mn0000987686/biography

MUNA LIVE on KEXP this Friday, August 12 at 11AM on the Midday Show, and playing Day In Day Out Festival that evening! https://www.dayindayoutfest.com/ The queer trio MUNA talks about being an openly out band since they started in 2014 and from transitioning from major record label, RCA to Phoebe Bridgers’ indie label, Saddest Factory Records -- check out the interview on KEXP's Sound & Vision: https://kexp.org/podcasts/sound-vision/2022/6/28/muna-on-queer-representation/. "MUNA’s voice booms. The band is queer, loud, unshakeable in their music — and in their personal politics. The trio’s music is powerful and political, emblazoned with scars from addiction, abuse, and isolation." https://muna.bandcamp.com/album/muna

I Feel You
by NoSo
(4 plays) | (0 fans)

Debut from this talented artist. "NoSo is shorthand for North/South: A nod to their Korean heritage, and the inane origin question (“Which Korea are you from?”) that so many Korean Americans inevitably face at some point in their lives. Hwong’s writing often indirectly grapples with the insecurities and frustrations that can arise from the Asian American experience. Their writing feels like a balm for the alienated." - Noah Yoo https://noso.bandcamp.com/ https://nosomusic.com
