Request for Justin in Portland, OR who is trying to stay outa the smoke and rain! The Jesus Lizard formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas. They are "a leading noise rock band in the American independent underground…(who) turned out a series of independent records filled with scathing, disembowelling, guitar-driven pseudo-industrial noise, all of which received positive reviews in underground music publications and heavy college-radio play." https://bit.ly/3ciIOk3 Miss live shows and want the angst of The Jesus Lizard live? Say the Name
by clipping.
(44 plays) | (0 fans)

If you think this album’s title looks familiar, you’re not wrong. 'Visions Of Bodies Being Burned' is named after a Scarface line from the Geto Boys’ classic 1991 single “Mind Playing Tricks On Me.” On the lead single “Say The Name,” clipping. samples that line, turning it into the hook and building a whole dark fantasy around it. by Band of Gypsys
(1 play) | (0 fans)

Request for Devin on the Kitsap Peninsula! Nineteen sixty-nine brought about a new and defining collaboration featuring Jimi Hendrix on guitar, bassist Billy Cox and Electric Flag drummer Buddy Miles. Performing as the Band of Gypsys, this trio launched a series of four New Year’s performances on December 31, 1969 and January 1, 1970. Highlights from these performances were compiled and later released on the quintessential Band of Gypsys album in mid-1970 and the expanded Hendrix: Live At The Fillmore East in 1999. https://www.jimihendrix.com/biography/
