Thomas August Darnell Browder (aka: August Darnell) was born in Montreal to a French Canadian mother & Dominican Father, but was raised in the Bronx. Before returning to music permanently in the 1980's, he formed "The In-Laws" in 1965 with his half brother Stony Browder Jr. but ended up earning a masters degree in English and becoming an English Professor instead. |

In the early 2000's, guitarist/keyboardist Dan Balis and keyboardist Eugene Cho met while attending Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY -- produced and remixed house tracks for the Brique Rogue and Stay True Labels! Many years later and by the time their 5th single was released... Balis and Cho's performing line-up consisted of 17 musicians! |
